Dorothy Baber, 83, of Charlottesville, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004, in a 
local hospital.
Born Sept. 20, 1920, in Nelson County, Va., she was the daughter of the late 
James Kirby and Consuelo (Suelo) Truslow Kirby.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ashby 
Baber, two brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Ester Baber Teal and her husband, Larry, and 
Elvra May Hoy Baber; one son, Daniel Ashby Baber; and one brother, Clarence 
Kirby.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 
2004, at Holy Cross Episcopal Churchyard in Batesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ARC of the Piedmont.
Teague Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
