Banton Lovingston - Charles Willard Banton, 53, died at his Arrington home Friday, Nov. 7, 1975. Born in Nelson County, he was the son of the late Charles M. Banton and Narcissus Peters Banton. He was a member of the Arlington Baptist Church and a veteran of World War 11. He is survived by his wife, Susie M. Banton of Arrington; two sons, Paul Howard Banton of Fairfax and Charles Willard Banton Jr. of Arrington; three step-sons, Hank Johnson of Arrington Joe Johnson of Wingina and Richard Johnson of Richmond; two step-daughters, Mrs. Virginia Mae Wright of Shipman, Mrs. Nancy Ann Bryant of Piney River; two brothers, Howard Banton of Arlington and Dan Banton of Holly Ridge, N.C.; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Harris and Mrs. Genette Fitzgerald, both of Shipman, Mrs. Margaret Devers of Arlington and Mrs. Ruth Wheeler of Esmont, and five step-grandchildren.
