Booth, 83, of 677 N. Bayard Ave., died Monday morning (Feb. 1, 1988) at Waynesboro Community Hospital. She was born in Nelson County on May 24, 1904, daughter of the late Ed C. (Edward Curtis) and Florence Truslow Puckett. Mrs. Booth was a member of Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church. Survivors include one son, Charles H. Booth of Waynesboro; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Myrtle Milos of Newfield, N. J.; three brothers, Irvin Puckett of Waynesboro, and Earl Puckett and Buddy Puckett, both of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. Isabell P. Williams of Waynesboro; three granddaughters, one grandson, four great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl F. Booth, on Oct. 29, 1964; a daughter, Mrs. Vernia Bayne on June 1, 1971; two brothers; two sisters and two grandchildren. A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard A. Koster, with burial in Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be the following members of the Waynesboro Fire Department "A" shift; Charlie Scott, Bruce Belew, Roger McVey, Jimmy Mace, Jimmy Bradley and Gary Major. Honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews and friends attending the service.
