Bowling James Richard "Ricky" Bowling, 33, of Charlottesville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 30, 1996, at a Charlottesville hospital. He was born Aug 14, 1963, in Charlottesville; a son of John James Bowling Jr. of Fluvanna, his mother and step-father, Peggy Pace Douglas and William R. Pace Sr., his wife, Barbara Jane Bowling of Charlottesville; a son, Anthony Scott Tardiff of Palmyra, a brother and sister-in-law, Randall Lee Bowling Sr. and Rhonda, of Charlottesville; a niece, Ginnie Bowling; two nephews, Michael and Randall Bowling Jr.; two step-brothers, William R. Douglas Jr. and William K. Douglas; and two step-sisters, Frances K. Payne and Margaret Knight. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Virginia and John Bowling Sr. and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Horace Pace. Mr. Bowling was a member of Fluvanna Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Fluvanna Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Tommy Lewis will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Ryan Funeral Chapel, Quinque. The family suggest memorial contributions be given to Barbara J.
