Obituary: Ella R. Bradley, 1972 Source: Unknown newspaper Contributor: Shirley Houk ---------------------------------------------------------- AMHERST -- Mrs. Ella (Ramsey) Bradley, 90, died early Sunday (May 21, 1972) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Mays on Rt. 1, Amherst. She wwas born in Nelson County, a daughter of William M. and Mary (Hamilton) Ramsey. She was the widow of James P. Bradley and a member of Midway Baptist Church. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by four sons, Elbert C., Worth, Edison and Mason Bradley, all of Amherst; two brothers, Stanley of Boise, Idaho and Bernard Ramsey of Lovingston; three sister, Mrs. Mary R. Bradley of Lovingston, Mrs. Burgess R. Coffey of Montebello and Mrs. Lena R. Steele of Greenville; 16 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren. Services were to be conducted 2 p.m. today by the Rev. R. B. Baker at Midway Baptist Church with burial in Mr. Peran Baptist Church Cemetery.
