OBITUARY: LLOYD D. BRADLEY, 1989 SOURCE: Daily News Leader, Staunton, VA (Unknown date) CONTRIBUTOR: Carol Harlow -------------------------------------------------------- STUARTS DRAFT -- Lloyd Dayton Bradley, 68, of 431 Augusta Farms Road died 7:57 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 24, 1989) in Waynesboro Community Hospital. He was born in Nelson County May 14, 1920, a son of Cornelius and Buleah (Phillips) Bradley. He was a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church, Montebello. He had been disabled for several years. Survivors include his widow, Mildred F. Bradley; four sons, Lloyd Jr. of Charlottesville, and Kenneth, Malcolm and Gary Bradley, all at home; five daughters Margaret Chittum of North Carolina, Nonie Humphreys of Buena Vista, and Sarah, Rebecca and Jennifer Bradley, all at home; two brothers, Wilbur of Greenville and Ezra Bradley of Clifton Forge; three sisters, Lois Bryant of Montebello, Florine Ayers of Indiana, and Madge Seaman of Montebello; three stepsisters, Virginia, Mabel and Ethel; one half brother, Delbert Phillips; a half sister, Maxine Fitzgerald; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Mt. Paran Baptist Church by the Revs. David Anderson and Richard Owen. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be friends attending the service. Honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7-8 tonight at the Stuarts Draft chapel of Etter Funeral Home.
