  LOVINGSTON - Dorothy Louise Branch, 76, of Lovingston, died Wednesday, 
Aug. 28, 2002, at her residence. 
  Born May 29, 1926, in Schuyler, Nelson County, she was the daughter of 
the late Herbert Gentry and Minnie Fitzgerald Gentry. In addition to her 
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Branch. 
  She is survived by her cousins, Mary Viola Ashley, Nellie Almond, and 
Lula Morris, all of Lynchburg. 
  The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at Wells/
Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston. 
  A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday morning in 
Elma Methodist Church Cemetery in Shipman, with the Rev. John P. Campbell 
officiating. 
  The family suggests that memorials take the form of contributions to 
Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 264, Lovingston, Va. 22949. 
  Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel, Lovingston, is in charge of arrangements.
