Times, 10 Apr 2003 Contributor: Carol Harlow ------------------------------------------------------------------------ AMHERST -Tribble Worth Bradley, 83, died Wednesday, April 2, 2003, in St. John's Nursing Home in Lynchburg. He was the husband for 62 years of Ruth Lawhorne Bradley. Born Aug. 6, 1919, in Nelson County, he was a son of the late James Pamplin and Ella Ramsey Bradley. He was owner of J.P. Bradley & Sons, a member and former treasurer of Midway Baptist Church, member of Mt. Pleasant Lodge #84 AF & AM for more than 50 years, the Pedlar Ruritan Club, founding member of the Pedlar Fire & Rescue Squad and member of the Amherst Gideons. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Eldon Bradley and Michael Bradley, both of Amherst; a daughter, Brenda Bryant of Rustburg; a sister, Loree Mays of Amherst; 8 granddaughters and seven great-grand- children. Funeral services were conducted Friday, April 4, at Midway Baptist Church with the Rev. Hugh Bumgarner and the Rev. Arnold Bradley officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Masonic Rites by the Mt. Pleasant Lodge #84 AF & AM.
