OBITUARY: DAVID F. BRYANT, 1992 SOURCE: unknown newspaper CONTRIBUTOR: Carol Harlow ------------------------------------------------------ MONTEBELLO -- David Franklin Bryant, 78, of Rt. 1, Montebello, died at 8:20 a.m. Saturday (May 2, 1992) at King's Daughters' Hospital. He was born on June 22, 1913 at Montebello, a son of Franklin and Annette (Ramsey) Bryant. He was a farmer. For a number of years, he was a fire warden at Pedlar District. He was a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church. His wife, Kathleen Belle (Doyle) Bryant, died on March 4, 1992. Surviving arc a son, Gary L. Bryant of Waynesboro; three daughters, Rita Grant, Shirley Fitzgerald and Nancy Allen, all of Buena Vista; a brother, Walter Bryant of Stuarts Draft; a sister, Irene Snead of Greenville; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Mt. Paran Baptist Church by the Rev. Stan Middleton, with burial at the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Allen, Tony, Dale and Jeff Grant, Donald and Chickie Bryant, Joe Moore and Brian Fitzgerald. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren and members of Mt. Paran Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 tonight at Henry Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his daughter, Mrs Grant, 1725 Maple Ave., Buena Vista. He was also preceded in death by three sons, Jerry, Reginal and Lemuel Bryant; and three brothers, Russell W.
