Obituary: Lola Bell (Truslow) Bryant, Age 80, died Feb. 19, 1991 Source: Unknown Newspaper Contributor: Dennis Truslow ------------------------------------------------------------------- LOVINGSTON - Lola Truslow Bryant, 80, died Tuesday (Feb. 19) in Lovingston Health Care Center. She was born in Nelson County on July 24, 1910, a daughter of the late Evertte and Minnie Carter Truslow. She was a member of Beech Grove Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Thomas Bryant; three brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by two sons, Arthur Kermit Bryant of Baltimore and John Howard Bryant of Greenfield (formerly of Massachusetts); three daughters, Hilda Thurston of Crozet, Doris Hughes of Nellysford and Virginia Earleen Nay of Charolottesville; three brothers, Cloudy Truslow of Waynesboro, Hampton Truslow of Faber and Jessie Truslow of Afton; three sisters, Dollie Mohler of Afton, Lucille Slater of Waynesboro and Barbara Shea of Afton; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Byrum-Parr Funeral Home, Roseland, by the Rev. Ron Sathe. Burial will be in Rockfish Valley Baptist Church cemetery. Active and honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
