OBITUARY: Louise Shirley Coffey Campbell, 1991 SOURCE: Unknown newspaper CONTRIBUTOR: Carol Harlow ---------------------------------------------------------------------- LYNDHURST - Louise Shirley Coffey Campbell, 55, of Route 1, Lyndhurst, wife of Ralph J. Campbell, died Friday afternoon (Sept. 20, 1991) in an automobile accident which occurred near Sherando. She was born July 24, 1936, in Nelson County, a daughter of Forest and Eva Campbell Coffey. Mrs. Campbell was a press operator with Genesco-The Greif Co., having completed 13 years of service before a medical retirement in 1968. She was a member of Mountain Top Christian Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dreama Mae Wood, on Sept. 8, 1991; and a brother, Huston Coffey, in 1990. In addition to her parents, of Lyndhurst, and husband, survivors include one son, Steven Michael Campbell of Nellysford; two sisters, Ruby Coffey of Lyndhurst and Mrs. Elmer (Madeline) Hewitt of Waynesboro; one brother, Richard T. Coffey of Stuarts Draft; six grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home by Robert Mansfield and the Revs. T. Ray Coffey and Charles C. Ramsey. Burial will be in Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Gary Demastus, Melvin Glass, Ed Fitzgerald, Lewis Campbell, Eldon Campbell, Wilson Campbell and Randy Fitzgerald. Honorary pallbearers will be nieces, nephews and friends attending the service.
