OBITUARY: Theodore W. CAMDEN Theodore Wilson Camden, Sr., 61, 300 Richneck Road, Newport News, died Monday (July 16, 1979) in Riverside Hospital. A native of Nelson County, he was a Peninsula resident 31 years and employed with the Civil Service in the Preventive Maintenance Department of Fort Eustis for 21 years service. He was a member of Olivet Christian Church, Denbigh, the Warwick Masonic Lodge No. 336, AF&AM, and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Evelyn Kirby Camden; three daughters, Miss Betty H. Camden and Mrs. Caroll C. Cundiff, both of Newport News, and Mrs. Sylvia C. Ray of Hampton; a son, Theodore Wilson Camden, Jr. of Newport News; a sister, Mrs. Hazel C. Wood of Amherst County; a stepsister, Mrs. Lillian Turner of Newport News; three brothers, Joe T. Camden of Newport News, Harold B. Camden of Okeechobee, Florida, and Charles E. Camden of Daytona Beach, Florida; a stepbrother, Ronald Miller of Newport News; and three grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Weymouth Funeral Home by the Rev. Harlan Ogle. Burial, with Masonic rites conducted by Warwick Masonic Lodge, will be in Peninsula Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Contributor's Note: Theodore Wilson Camden was the son of William Carrington "Carrey" Camden and Lena G.
