Obituary: Edward Tinsley Campbell, (born May 1, 1914), 1991 Source: Unknown Newspaper Contributor: Dennis Truslow ---------------------------------------------------------------- LYNCHBURG - Edward Tinsley Campbell, 77, of Route 1, Roseland, and formerly of Piney River, died Thursday night (May 23, 1991) at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born in Nelson County, a son of the late Birdie Grafton and Maggie Lillie Truslow Campbell. He was retired from American Cyanamid Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Evergreen Christian Church. In addition to his wife, Nellie Adams Campbett, he is survived by a son, Kifferly Edward Campbell, of Amherst; two daughters, Mrs. Lillie Gregory of Lyndhurst and Mrs. Louise C. Powell of Rustburg; a brother, Leftwick P. Campbell of Roseland; a sister, Mrs. Inez Fitzgerald of Greenville; six grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren. A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Piney River Funeral Home by the Rev. Michael Fitzgerald. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery, Roseland. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and at other times at the residence.
