Obituary: Kester Warren Campbell, died May 26, 1982 Source: Unknown Newspaper Contributor: Dennis Truslow ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ROSELAND - Kester Warren Campbell, 56, died Wednesday night in the University of Virginia Hospital. He was born May 17, 1926, in Nelson County, a son of the late Birdie Grafton Campbell and Lillie Maggie Truslow Campbell. He was a maintenance supervisor for Nelson County Schools and attended Massies Mill Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Arlene Lawhorn Campbell; two sons, Warren Lewis Campbell, Robert "Bobby" Leslie Campbell; one daughter, Mrs. Rebecca C. McMurry; two brothers, Lefwitch Campbell and Tinsley Campbell, all of Roseland; one sister, Mrs. Inez C. Fitzgerald of Greenville; seven grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Piney River Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Charles E. Parrish, with burial in Jonesboro Cemetery in Roseland.
