JESSIE M. CASH LYNCHBURG,VA
  Jessie M. Cash, 75, of Lynchburg. VA. died Saturday, December 7, 2002, at 
Lynchburg General Hospital.  Born in Nelson County, VA. on July 7, 1927, he 
was a son of the late Roy Wade Cash and Mary Magalene Fitzgerald Cash.  Mr. 
Cash was an avid fisherman and retired from the Lynchburg Foundry Company 
after 25 years of service.
  Surviving are his children, Deborah Goode and her husband, David, of 
Lynchburg, VA and Larry Cash and his wife, Cheryl, of Franklin, IN.  Two 
grandchildren, Kirby Carissa Goode and David Edward Goode, Jr., of Lynchburg.
  Also, his sisters, Louise Deaver and her husband, Lyle, of Staunton, VA, 
Gertrude Cline and Lois Amos of Waynesboro, VA, Betty Farris of Stuarts Draft, 
VA, and one brother, Roy William Cash, of Waynesboro, VA.  Also, a host of 
special nieces and nephews.
  Also, surviving are stepdaughters Patricia Bryant and her husband, Thomas, 
of Lynchburg, VA, Brenda Wilt and her husband, Sonny, of Evington, VA, Louella 
Maxey and her husband, David, of Lynchburg, VA, and Paula Floyd of Forest, VA, 
and a very special friend, Faye Cash.
  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2002, at 
Byrum-Parr Funeral Home in Piney River, VA, by the Rev. Jack L. Brooks.  Burial 
will be at Haines Chapel in Montebello, VA. The family will receive friends an 
hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Please consider a contribution
