ELLIS COFFEY Mrs. Willie Bryant Coffey, 89, of Rt. 4, Staunton, widow of Ellis Coffey, died Tuesday morning (Dec. 3, 1985) in King's Daughters' Hospital. She was born Sept. 23, 1896 in Nelson County, a daughter of Samuel M. and Nancy (Ramsey) Bryant, and was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a son, Wayt K. Coffey of Rt. 4, Staunton; one brother, James S. Bryant of Piney River; one sister, Mrs. Lula B. Fitzgerald of Lynchburg; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Her husband died July 20, 1961. A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday in Hammond Chapel Cemetery on Barterbrook Road by Dr. Philip A. Roberts.
