OBITUARY: OWEN W. COFFEY, 1992 SOURCE: Unknown newspaper CONTRIBUTOR: Carol Harlow ---------------------------------------------------------------------- WAYNESBORO - Owen Wilson Coffey, 75, of 112 S. Delphine Ave., died Saturday morning (March 7,1992) in his residence. He was born Jan. 21, 1917 in Love, a son of Henry Lee and Millie Ann (Campbell) Coffey. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was retired from Virginia MetalCrafters. Survivors include three daughters, Faye Kite of Stuarts Draft, Lovie Coffman of Waynesburg, Pa., and Darlene Dedrick of Staunton; two sisters, Eva Coffey of Waynesboro and Mary Hewitt of Lyndhurst; and nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home by the Rev. T. Ray Coffey with burial in Mt. Top Christian Church Cemetery. The Stuarts Draft V.F.W. Post No. 9339 will conduct military rites at the graveside. Pallbearers will be Charles Dedrick, David Coffman, Kenneth Glass, Kenneth Kite, William Miller Jr. and Owen Coffman.
