OBITUARY: ROBERT A. COFFEY, 1959 SOURCE: Unknown newspaper CONTRIBUTOR: Carol Harlow ---------------------------------------------------------------------- WAYNESBORO - Robert Alexander Coffey, 75, died at 2:35 a. m. today at his home, Rt. 2. Waynesboro (March 13. 1959) after a long illness. He was born May 25, 1883, in Montebello, a son of the late Alexander S. and Sarah Fitzgerald Coffey. He was a retired farmer and a member of the White Rock Christian Church. Nelson County, where he had served as an elder for a number of years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Taylor Coffey; two foster sons, Orcie Taylor, Rt. 2, Waynesboro, Elwood Taylor, Waynesboro; one sister, Mrs. E. B. Fitzgerald, Roseland; one brother, A. F. Coffey, Rt. 2, Staunton; also a number of nieces und nephews. The body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home until one hour prior to the services and will be placed in the Evergreen Christian Church Sunday at one p. m. where the funeral services will be conducted at two p. m. by the Rev.
