OBITUARY: Robert Bruce Coffey, 1991 SOURCE: unknown newspaper CONTRIBUTOR: Carol Harlow ------------------------------------------------------ Robert Bruce Coffey, 89, of Appomattox, died Monday, December 16, 1991, in Lynchburg General Hospital. Born in Nelson County, February 9, 1902, he was a son of the late James Alexander and Selina Fitzgerald Coffey. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Metropolitan-Craft Masonic Lodge No. 519, Moslem Shrine Temple in Detroit, Mich., and Courtside Athletic Club in Lynchburg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Yockey Coffey. He is survived by one sister, Maizie C. Frank, and her husband, Leo, of Winston-Salem, N.C.; one sister-in-law, Scottie Coffey, of Lynchburg; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 19, in Byrum-Parr Funeral Home by the Rev. John W.
