Coffey, 85, of Stafford County, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, at Mary Washington Hospital. She was a native of Nelson County and a longtime Stafford resident. She was a member of Fredericksburg Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray F. Coffey; and a sister, Lila Morris. She is survived by her son, Mitchell "Mickey" Coffey of Stafford; her daughters, Fay McGhee of Spotsylvania, Barbara Drumheller of Lake of the Woods, and Margaret Harrell of Spotsylvania; a brother, H.D. Kidd of Nelson County; her sisters, Minnie Walker of Nelson County, and Eleanor Jackson of Honaker; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a nephew raised in her parent's home, Wilton Spencer of Charlottesville; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Covenant Funeral Service Chapel with Minister Bill Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
