Coffey LYNDHURST - Lena Gaynell Coffey, 91, of Route 1, died Wednesday (Jan. 22, 1997) at Augusta Medical Center. She was born May 18, 1905, in Whiterock in Nelson County, a daughter of the late Emmett and Mary Fitzgerald. She was preceded m death by her husband, Kelly Massie Coffey; one daughter, Christine Jewel Claytor; and four sisters, Lacy Adkins, Bina Worrell, Lola Wood and Lina Baker. Mrs. Coffey is survived by three daughters, Marie Campbell, Annie McGann of Lyndhurst, Arlene Tisdale of Oak Hill; one son, Earl Coffey of Lyndhurst; 22 grand- children; 36 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren . A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lyndhurst Methodist Church by the Rev. Jim Simmons and Vance Brydge. Burial will be at Mountain Top Christian Church cemetery in Love. Active pallbearers will be Sonny Claytor, Dale Lowe, Gary McGann, Garland Coffey, J.T. Tisdale and Gordon Campbell Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren attending the service. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the Waynesboro chapel of Etter-Reynolds Funeral Service or other times, at the residence of her daughters. Memorial donations may be made to the Waynesboro First Aid Crew, P.O. Box 1427, Waynesboro, Va. 22980 or the Wilson Fire Department, P.O.
