Obituary: Vernon M. Craig, 83, died Sept. 14, 2002

  Vernon McDaniel "Jack" Craig, 83, of Schuyler, Nelson County, died 
Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002. 
  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pugh Craig; his parents, 
Lawrence E. Craig and Beulah N. Craig; and a brother, Lawrence A. Craig. 
  Survivors include one son, Danny Craig and his wife, Dolores, of 
Charlottesville; one brother, Howard L. Craig Sr. of Nellysford; two 
grandchildren, Jeffrey Craig of Palmyra, and Bryan Craig of Charlottesville; 
and two great-grandchildren, Cole and Austin Craig. 
  Mr. Craig was retired from Charlottesville Glass and Mirror. 
  A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Beaver Dam Baptist 
Church Cemetery, Troy. 
  Mr. Craig will lie in state from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Thacker 
Brothers Funeral Home, Scottsville.
