OBITUARY: Lena Caroll Camden Cundiff, 1986 SOURCE: The Daily Press, Newport News, VA, January 11, 1986 CONTRIBUTOR: Sylvia Ray ----------------------------------------------------------------- LENA CAROLL CAMDEN CUNDIFF Lena Caroll Camden Cundiff, 41, of 21 Boxwood Lane, Newport News, died Thursday (January 9, 1986) in Riverside Hospital. She was born in Nelson County and had been a Peninsula resident for 37 years. She worked at Fort Eustis for 20 years and was a member of Olivet Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Albert R. Cundiff, Jr., her mother, Mrs. Evelyn Kirby Camden of Newport News; two sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Ray of Hampton, and Mrs. Betty Smith of Newport News, and a brother, Theodore W. Camden, Jr. of Newport News. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Weymouth Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert George, pastor of Denbigh Christian Church. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the residence.
