Irene Forsythe, 82, of Faber, (Nelson County), died Friday morning, Jan. 30, 
2004, at the Lovingston Health Care Center.
Irene was born on June 9, 1921, in Massachusetts, a daughter of the late 
Walter Forsythe Sr. and Betty Glass Forsythe. Besides her parents, one sister 
and four brothers preceded her in death. Irene was the last of her immediate 
family.
She attended Rock Spring United Methodist Church at Faber prior to her illness 
and enjoyed the church as well as the many friends and neighbors who cared for 
and looked after her.
Her niece, Jenny V. Green of West Springfield, Mass., survives her.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at 11 a.m. at 
Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston with Dr. Daniel Abbott 
officiating. Interment will be beside her brothers, in Mountain View Cemetery 
in Lovingston.
The family will receive friends one hour before the time of services at the 
funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel of Lovingston.
