OBITUARY: Clemmer W. Fitzgerald, 1990 SOURCE: Unknown newspaper CONTRIBUTOR: Carol Harlow ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Clemmer W. Fitzgerald, 86, of 921 Glencoe Ave., died Thursday (March 7) in Liberty House Nursing Home. He was born July 9, 1904, at Montibello in Nelson County, the son of Joseph C. and Mary Jane (Coffey) Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald was retired from the Basic Witz Furniture Co. and was a member of the White Rock Christian Church at Montibello. Survivors include his wife, Mary H. Fitzgerald; three daughters, Mrs. Alexander (Clara) Molosky and Mrs. Robert (Annie) Adolphson of Saxton, Pa., and Mrs. Walter (Kathleen) Weaver of Waynesboro; one son, Lewis E. Fitzgerald of Waynesboro; 17 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. B.C. Akers. Burial will be in Augusta Memorial park. Active pallbearers will be Eddie Landrum, Mike Sorrells, Mitch Sorrells, Junior Sorrells, David Shifflett, Arthur Hutchinson, Edward Mason and Ray McLaughlin.
