OBITUARY: Eliza Frances Bryant Fitzgerald, 1981 SOURCE: Unknown newspaper CONTRIBUTOR: Carol Harlow ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CHESAPEAKE - Mrs. Eliza Frances Bryant Fitzgerald, 91, died Monday in the Midicenter in Norfolk. She was born in Montebello on April 13, 1889, a daugnter of the late Samuel and Viola Hatter Bryant. She was the widow of Willie W. Fitzgerald. A member of the Old Providence ARP Presbyterian Church in Spottswood, she is survived by three sons, Leonard Fitzgerald of Glasgow, Willie H. Fitzgerald of Covington, and Elbert Woodrow Fitzgerald of Kennett Square, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Lacy F. Jones of Chesapeake, Mrs. Ethel M. Helmick of Lexington, and Mrs. Hazel M. Haynes of Covington; two sisters, Mrs. Willie D. Coffey of Staunton and Mrs. Lula Fitzgerald of Lynchburg; a brother, James Bunnie Bryant of Piney River; and 26 grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Harrison's Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington, conducted by Dr. James Bell and the Rev. Walter V. Schmidt. Interment will follow in the Old Providence ARP Church Cemetery.
