OBITUARY: Blanche Christie Bradley Fitzgerald, 1998 SOURCE: unknown newspaper CONTRIBUTOR: Carol Harlow ------------------------------------------------------ Blanche Christie Bradley, Fitzgerald, 84, of Lovingston died Saturday, June 13,1998, at the Lovingston Health Care Center . Born April 5, 1914, at Montebello, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Austin Bradley and Mary Ramsey Bradley. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Eldon Fitzgerald, in 1976, and her son, Robert "Bobby" Fitzgerald, in 1992. She was a homemaker and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Lovingston. She is survived by a daughter, Joyce E. Taylor of Lovingston; two sons, Mark E. Fitzgerald of Lovingston and Garry L. Fitzgerald of Lyndhurst; a sister, Ailene Simpson of Richmond; a brother, Manson Bradley of Lovingston; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Campbell officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. The family received friends at Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston and all other times at the residence of Mark and Ruth Fitzgerald.
