OBITUARY: EULA FITZGERALD, 1983 SOURCE: Daily News Leader, Staunton, VA (Unknown date) CONTRIBUTOR: Carol Harlow -------------------------------------------------------- STUARTS DRAFT -- Mrs. Eula Beatrice Fitzgerald, 71, Rt. 2, Stuarts Draft, died 1:50 p.m. Monday (Nov. 21, 1983) in Waynesboro Community Hospital. She was born in Nelson County Aug. 3, 1912, daughter of Mrs. Teressie F. Coffey of Rt. 4, Waynesboro, and the late Charles Austin Coffey. She was a member of Sherando Christian Church and a retired seamstress with L. Grief and Co., Verona. Her husband, Ottis Owen Fitzgerald, died March 16. Besides her mother, she is survived by one son, Roger L. Fitzgerald of Lyndhurst; six daughters, Mrs. Madeline F. Rhodes, Mrs. Florine F. Painter, Mrs. Ruthie F. Dedrick, Mrs. Dottie F. Dameron and Mrs. Edith F. Stennett, all of Sherando, and Mrs. Libby F. Dameron of Waynesboro; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Taylor of Waynesboro and Mrs. Myrtle Grant of Shipman; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sherando Christian Church by the Revs. Stan Shirk and Billy Morris. Burial will be in Lyndhurst United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny and Paul Painter, Mike Rhodes, Robert and Timothy Dameron, Tony Stinnett, Ed McCauley and Buck Fitzgerald.
