FITZGERALD James Melvin Fitzgerald (Jimmy), 52, died Saturday, June 28, 2003, at his home in Roseland. Born in Waynesboro on July 8, 1950, he was a son of James Palmer and Mary Coffey Fitzgerald of Roseland. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, was a member and past master of Shipman Masonic Lodge #46, was a 10-year member and former chairman of the Nelson County Service Authority, and was owner and operator of Fitzgerald Appliance.
