Jerry D. Fitzgerald, 56
  SPOTTSWOOD - Jerry Dean "J.D" Fitzgerald, of 768 Spottswood Road, formerly of 
Stuarts Draft, died Thursday (Oct. 16, 2003.)  He was born Feb. 24, 1947, at 
Nelson County, to Clarence and Carrie (Fitzgerald) Coffey.
  Mr. Fitzgerald was preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include three 
daughters, Leslie M. Fitzgerald of Spottswood and Nikki Mays and Jerri Denise 
Fitzgerald of Waynesboro; a son, James D. Fitzgerald, also of Waynesboro; eight 
sisters, Elizabeth Carr, Elaine Bryant and Vivian Allen of Stuarts Draft, Jenny 
Moyers of Fishersville, Georgie Phillips and Vera Falls of Montebello and Velma 
Quick and Betty Coffey of Lyndhurst; and a brother William Coffey of  Stuarts 
Draft.
  Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Reynolds Funeral Home, Waynesboro.  
Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 7 to 8 this 
evening at the funeral home.
