Joel Henry Fortune
 
  Joel Henry Fortune, 85, of Schuyler died Tuesday, June 6, 1995.
  He is survived by his wife, Flossie Thacker Fortune one daughter Frances 
Fortune Moran, of Springfield, Va.; one sister, Mamie Mann, of Roseland; one 
brother, Tunstall Fortune, of Alexandria; three grandchildren and seven great-
grandchildren.
  Mr. Fortune was a member of first Wesleyan Church, Alexandria, and was 
retired from National Airlines in Washington, D.C.
  Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Thacker Brothers 
Funeral Home, Scottsville, with the Rev. Marvin E. Jacobs officiating. Interment 
will follow at Alberene Cemetery, Alberene.
  Friends may call at the funeral home today from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
