Virtie Epps Green, 84, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Nelson County 
(Roseland), departed this life Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, at Howard University 
Hospital.
She was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Victoria L. Epps. She was an 
active member of Shiloh Baptist Church, including Pilgrim Circle and Senior 
Citizens Club.
You are invited to celebrate her life today, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Shiloh 
Baptist Church (Ninth and P Streets, NW). We will also celebrate her life 
Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Oak Hill Baptist Church, Massies Mill, 
with interment in Oak Hill Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include two daughters, Callie Giles and Robin Green; two sons, Larry 
and Calvin Greene, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, 
Mattie Epps; nieces, nephews and many relatives and friends.
Byrum-Parr Funeral Home, Roseland, (434)-277-5194, is in charge of 
arrangements.
