Obituary: Julia Phillips Goff, 1966 Source: The Daily Progress, Dec. 14, 1966 Contributor: Jim McRay ---------------------------------------------------------- Faber - Mrs. Julia Phillips Goff, 74, of Faber, died yesterday at her home after a brief illness. Born June 12, 1892, in Nelson County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Julia Kidd Phillips, and the wife of the late Dabney H. Goff. She was a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She is survived by five sons, Gilbert Goff and Dillard Goff of Schuyler, Melvin Goff of Faber, Howard Goff of Charlottesville, Calvin Goff of Rockfish; five daughters, Mrs. Mattie Thompson of Faber, Mrs. Bertha Weeks of Union, N. J., Mrs. Amanda Phillips of Richmond, Mrs. Margaret Pace of Charlottesville and Mrs. Louise Moyer of Crozet; 31 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
