Obituary: Inez V. Harris, Died November 14, 1949 Source: Unknown newspaper Contributor: Diane Lamb ----------------------------------------------------- Mrs. Inez Velasquez Harris, 94, died at 12:05 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.E. Armstrong in Clifton Forge, after an illness of two weeks. She is formerly of Lyndhurst, born May 14, 1858 in Nelson County, daughter of the late Richard and Jane Morris Giles; the widow of James W. Harris, who died in 1919. She is survived by five daughters, in addition to Mrs. Armstrong; Mrs. J. A. Greens, Richmond; Mrs. Madge Shumake, Mt. Sidney; Mrs. Nora Jackson, Staunton; and Mrs. Nellie Williams, Front Royal; 32 grandchildren and a number of great- grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Callie Harris of Iron Gate. The body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, 2 p.m. in the Etter Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Stafford E. Davis with interment in the Mt.
