Mrs. Hersey J. Harvey
  ROSELAND - Mrs. Maxie Wood Harvey, 70, wife of Hersey H. Harvey of Roseland, 
died Thursday morning at the University of Virginia Hospital at Charlottesville.
  Born in Nelson County, she was the daughter of John H. and Virginia Thompson 
Wood.  She was a member of Jonesboro Baptist Church.
  Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Charles R. Hughes of 
Alexandria, and Miss Catherine Harvey of Charlottesville; four sons, Hersey H. 
Harvey Jr. of Roseland, Carrold J. Harvey of Long Island, N.Y., James R. Harvey 
of Roseland, and John H. Harvey of Alexandria; a sister Mrs. Henry Duncan of 
Faber and a brother Forest D. Wood of Faber and nine grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Jonesboro Baptist Church 
with burial in the church cemetery.  Piney River Funeral Home is in charge of 
arrangements.
