OBITUARY:  William Henry Hatter

  William Henry Hatter of Tyro, died at Virginia Baptist Hospital early 
yesterday after a lingering illness.  He was a merchant at Tyro, son of 
Mrs. D. K. Hatter and the late Mr. Hatter, members of a family long 
resident of that section of Nelson County.
  His wife, the former Miss Lora Bradley; his mother, one daughter, Miss 
Louise Hatter, and the following sisters survive him; Mrs. N. T. Wilson 
of Roseland; Mrs. Paul Braithwaite and Mrs. Paul Parker, both of 
Martinsville; Mrs. R. G. Richifer of Mount Salmond, Mrs. William Magann 
of Staunton and Mrs. Shelton Adams of Tyro; and two brothers, E H. Hatter 
of Tyro, and Woodrow Hatter of Staunton.
  Funeral services will be held at the home at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon.
