  WAYNESBORO -- Graden O. Hatter, 63, died Wednesday (May 22, 1991) 
in The District Home.
  He was born Feb. 16, 1928 in Tyro, a son of Withers and Lelia 
(Oliver) Hatter.  He was a past member of Evergreen Christian Church 
in Tyro.
  Survivors include a sister, Winifred Critzer of Waynesboro; and a 
number of nieces and nephews.
  There will be no public viewing.  The body was donated to science.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis 
Society, P.O. Box 6808, Charlottesville. Va. 22906.
  The Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funerul Home handled arrangements.
