OBITUARY: GERTRUDE C. JORDAN, 1992 SOURCE: Unknown newspaper CONTRIBUTOR: Carol Harlow ------------------------------------------------------ TYRO -- Gertrude C. Jordan, 92, died Sunday (June, 21, 1992) in the Lovingston Health Care Center. She was born May 4, 1900 in Nelson County, a daughter of James P. and Sarah Jane (Campbell) Coffey. She was a member of Massies Mill Presbyterian Church and the widow of Kelsoe R. Jordan. Survivors include two sons, W. Clark of Waynesboro and Tolley Jordan of Tyro; one daughter, Inez Lilly of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and four grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday in Byrum-Parr Funeral Home by the Rev. Gordon Mapes with private burial in the family cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. GERTRUDE C.
