Frederick Gaines Lawson, 69, of Arrington, (Nelson County), passed away on 
Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, in Arrington.
He was born on June 23, 1934, a son of the late John and Nora Lawson.
He is survived by a son, Fred Scott Lawson and his wife, Paula, of Afton; a 
grandson, Scott Lawson of New Mexico; two stepgrandchildren, Eden and Darren 
Fitzgerald; three sisters, Eleanor Murphy and Helen Ogletree of Florida and 
Elizabeth Sherman of Vermont.
Mr. Lawson was a retired Navy veteran.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Mitclell-Davis. Pastor 
Wendell Lamb will officiate.
