Loving Jr. Aubrey L. Loving Jr., 61 of Schuyler, died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, at his home. He was born Nov. 28, 1937, in Albemarle County, son of the late Aubrey Lee Loving Sr. and Lillian Lucille Thomas Loving. He was the husband of the late Janice Elaine Loving. Mr. Loving was employed wit the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation. He was a past member of the Albemarle County Sheriff’s Department, Scottesville Rescue Squad and Scottesville Police Department. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in both the Korean War and in Vietnam. Mr Loving attended Mercy Antioch Peace Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving are his children, Brenda Crocker of Amherst, George Lee Loving and his wife, Tammy, with the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division in Georgia, Tonya Jones of Fluvanna County, Tamara Johnson and her husband, James, of Charlottesville and Starr Loving of Albemarle County; three sisters, Audrey Turner of Albemarle County, Joyce Wyant of Charlottesville and Becky Wood of Schuyler; one brother, Henry Loving of Albemarle County; six grandchildren; and a special friend, Shelby Martin. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at the Hill & Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Loving Family Cemetery at Schuyler.
