Lunsford STAUNTON - Ethel (Ramsey) "BoBo" Bocock Lunsford, 89, widow of Clarence Tyssinger Lunsford, and formerly of Spottswood, died at 3:20 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 25, 2001) at the Birch Gardens of Royal Care. She was born Nov. 30, 1911 at Montebello, a daughter of Tulley Vaughn and Bessie Lillian (Grant) Ramsey. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Western State Hospital for 20 years. She was a member of Old Providence ARP Church and the Fairfield Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died Jan. 6, 1977; her first husband, Robert Bocock, who died in June, 1953; a brother, J. Elvin Ramsey; and two sisters, Mary Ralston and Ella McCormick. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Lewis M. Bocock and his wife, Jean, of Staunton, and Bobbie L. Bocock and his wife, Peggy, of Greenville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Clarence Ramsey and his wife, Helen, and T. V. Ramsey Jr. and his wife, Martha, all of Staunton; and William L. Ramsey and his wife, Janie, of Verona; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Elna Conner of Greenville, Sibyl McCormick of Staunton, Maybelle Alexander ofVerona and Elizabeth and Glen Lickliter of Strasburg; a sister-in-law, Madeline L. Ramsey of Staunton; five grandchildren, Lewis Mac Bocock, Donna Wilder, Debbie Conner, Sandy Powell and Cindy Clymore; seven great-grandchildren; a number of stepgrandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Church of the Good Shepherd, with the Revs. H. Max Bolin and Louis H. Fracher officiating. A brief graveside service will be at Old Providence ARP Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Bolin presiding. Pallbearers will be Adam and David Conner, Kenton and Miles Bocock and Ryan and Regan Wilder. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews. There will be no public viewing.
