Vertie M. Morris
  Vertie Mae Morris, 86, died Sun, Sept. 23, in Annaburg Nursing Home, 
Manassas, Va.
  She was the widow of Willy Wade Morris.
  She is survived by one son, Olyn Odell Morris of Gainsville, Va., and 
one grandson.
  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m. at Thacker Brothers 
Funeral Home Chapel, Scottsville with interment in Mt. Zion Church 
Cemetery, Esmont.

Contributor’s notes: Vertie Mae Morris was born May 9, 1898, a daughter 
of Florence Thompson and Alexander N. Morris of Nelson County.  She died 
September 23, 1984 in Manassas, Virginia.
