Obituary: Nellie (Thompson) Moses, died July 26, 1984 Published: Unknown Newspaper Contributor: Dennis Truslow ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mrs. Nellie Thompson Moses, 76, of Route 2, died yesterday morning in Waynesboro Community Hospital. She was born in Augusta County on Sept. 7, 1907, a daughter of the late Nelson Orville and Clara Virginia Parry Thompson (of Nelson County). She was a member of Lyndhurst United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death in death by her husband, James Michael Moses. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ann V. Arthur of Lyndhurst; three brothers, Aubrey R. Thompson and Willie G. Thompson both of Waynesboro and Nelson N. Thompson of Lyndhurst; and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Robert Throckmorton. Burial will be in Lyndhurst United Methodist Church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Creed Kent, Willie Henderson, John Lyons, Gordon Patterson, Sonny Robertson, Troy Hagwood and Bob Lyons.
