Obituary: Nellie L. (Truslow) Noe, 1989 Published: Unknown Newspaper Contributor: Dennis Truslow --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mrs. Nellie Lorraine Truslow Noe, 61, of 1505 Fir St., died Wednesday morning (June 7) in Waynesboro Community Hospital. She was born April 10, 1928, in Ladd (Augusta County), a daughter of Samuel Houston and Myrtle Hicks Truslow. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of Stuarts Draft High School and was employed at Genicom Corp. in Waynesboro. She was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Joyce Truslow; and two brothers, Samuel H. Truslow Jr. and John Roger Truslow. Survivors include a daughter, Patsy "Sam" N. Humphreys of Waynesboro; a son, James H. Hoe of Highland, Calif.; a daughter, Cathy N. Branum of Stuarts Draft; five brothers, James W. Truslow, Harry L. Truslow, Walter N. Truslow, Charles Hicks Truslow and Lewis C. Truslow; two sisters, Mrs. Willie (Helen) Potter and Mrs. Arvine (Mildred) Creef; and a number of nieces and nephews. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Carrie Lynn Humphreys, Lanny Branum, Shane Branum, Matthew Noe, David Hellman and Elizabeth Hellman. A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church by the Rev. Glenn L. London Jr. Burial will be in Bethlehem Lutheran Church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Rein Kerber, Roy Jeckins, Jim Snead, Richard Paterson, Michael Creef, Howell Tibbs, Matthew Hitt and Donnie Coffey. Honorary pallbearers will be Owen Truslow, Buddy Creef, Sammy Creef, Harry Lee Truslow, Coe Truslow, Owen Bunch, Scott Truslow, Dr. Gilmer Ayers, Dr. Charles Anderson, Randy Barker, Ronnie Dameron and Dave Gibson.
