Obituary: Hannah Painter Source: Unknown newspaper Contributor: Shirley ------------------------------------------------- Mrs. Hannah Painter Mrs. Hannah Mary Painter, 73, of Stuarts Draft, Route 1 died at 4 a.m. today after a long illness. Born March 23, 1882 in nelson County, a daughter of the late David Edward Painter and Sarah Francis Painter, she was the wife of Daniel Garber Painter. She was a member of Mt. Paran Baptist church. She is survived by three sons, Franklin Painter, Afton, David Painter, Washington D.C., one daughter, Mrs. Cecil Fretwell, Stuarts Draft: three sisters, Mrs. A.G. Fitzgerald, Fishersville: Mrs. Henry Phillips, Montebello and Mrs. Howard Fitzgerald, Mr. Solon: two brothers, A.T. Painter, Ft. Defiance: A.D. Painter, Middlebrook: also, 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home until Sunday morning and will be returned to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cecil Fretwell. The funeral service will be Monday at 2. P.m. at the Mt. Paran Babtist Church, Montebello, conducted by the Rev. Paul Barnhardt ___ by the Rev.
