Obituary: Randolph Wilson Puckett, Age 53, born May 15, 1938, died April 20, 1992 Published: Unknown Newspaper Contributor: Dennis Truslow ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Randolph Wilson "Randy" Puckett Sr., 53, of Route 1, Box 166, Grottoes, died at 12:40 a.m. Monday (April 20, 1992) in Waynesboro Community Hospital. He was born May 15, 1938, in Waynesboro, a son of Mrs. Gladys (Phillips) Puckett of Waynesboro and the late Eddie Wilson Puckett. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was self-employed in auto promotions. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Virginia Chaney Puckett; a son, Randolph W. Puckett Jr. of Waynesboro; a son Ed Curtis Puckett of Waynesboro; three daughters, Mrs. Mike (Cindy P.) Williams of Staunton, Mrs. Kendall (Tracy P.) Roop of Waynesboro and Ms. Teresa G. Puckett of Harrisonburg; a brother, James A. Puckett of Snellville, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by the Rev. Bill Johnson. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Henry Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to the Staunton - West Augusta Heart Association, P.O.
