NELSON COUNTY, VA - OBITUARIES - Lethea Amanda (Goff) Phillips

Lethea Amanda Phillips, 82, of Richmond died Wednesday January 28, 2004. She 
is survived by three grandchildren, Michael and Scott Phillips and Donna 
Meyer; two great grandchildren, Tori and Halee Phillips; and one brother. Her 
remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street 
Rd. where the family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. A graveside 
service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Maury Cemetery.

Letha Amanda Goff was born 18 August 1921 in Nelson County, VA.  Her parents 
were Dabney and Julia Goff. She married George Carl Phillips on 11 May 1937 
who preceded her in death. She had one son,  Carlton Riley Phillips who died 
26 February 1993.
She is survived by one brother, Gilbert Goff.  Her sisters, Mattie, Bertha, 
Margaret, Louise and brothers Melvin, Dillard, Howard and Calvin preceded her 
in death.
