Ronald Edward (Ron) Popielarz, 61, of Browning Cove Lane, Shipman, (Nelson 
County), died suddenly Monday morning, May 17, 2004, at his residence. 
Born Nov. 10, 1942, in Jamaica, N.Y., he was the son of Jean Borowski 
Popielarz of Shipman and the late Edward Popielarz. He was a Sales 
Representative/Distributor with Hardigg Case's of Deerfield, Mass., and an 
active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Lovingston. 
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Pigulski Popielarz; 
three daughters, Mary Catherine (Missy) Wade of Shipman, Ann Marie Read of 
LaGrangeville, N.Y., and Stephanie R. Popielarz of Shipman; two sons, Richard 
M. Popielarz of Maidens, Va., and Matthew E. Popielarz of Aylett, Va.; and 
eight grandchildren. 
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's 
Catholic Church with Father Dan Kelly officiating with Interment in the family 
cemetery at Shipman. 
A Rosary Service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home after 
which the family will receive friends until 8:30 p.m. 
The family requests that flowers be omitted and contributions be made in Ron's 
memory to the Building fund of St. Mary's Catholic Church, P.O. Box 375, 
Lovingston, VA 22949. 
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel 
of Lovingston (434-263-4097).
