Obituary: Charles W. Quick, 1988 Source: Unknown newspaper Contributor: Dennis Truslow -------------------------------------------------------------------------- LYNDHURST - Charles Wilson Quick, 74, of Rt.1, Lyndhurst, died Tuesday afternoon (May 31, 1988) at his residence. He was born in Nelson County Nov. 15, 1913, a son of Sidney Albert and Minnie (Truslow) Quick. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Mountain View Mennonite Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Marie H. Quick; one sister, Hallie F. Henderson of Rt. 1, Lyndhurst; and a number of nieces and nephews. A service will be conducted at 11 a. m. Friday in Mountain View Mennonite Church by the Revs. Stan Shirk and Charles Ramsey, with burial in the Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Melvin, Willie and Marvin Henderson Jr., Floyd and Elwood Quick and Eric Coiner. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Senior Citizens Sunday School Class of Mountain View Mennonite Church. The family will receive friends from 7-8 tonight in the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home.
