'Randy' Quick Jr. Louis Randolph "Randy" Quick Jr., 53, of 545 Chestnut Avenue, Waynesboro, passed away Sunday night (Jan. 19, 2003) at his residence. Randy was born July 29, 1949, in Waynesboro, a son of Stella Peggy Hudson Quick and the late Louis R. Quick Sr. He was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Waynesboro Mennonite Church and was the postmaster at Schuyler, Va. He loved his grandchildren, enjoyed bowling, fishing at Smith Mountain Lake, and hunting with his sons. Survivors include his mother, Peggy Hudson Quick of Waynesboro; his wife, Frances Geraldine Fitzgerald Quick; two sons, Louis R. Quick III and his wife, Rebecca, of Lyndhurst and Barnaby M. Quick of the home; one daughter, Angela H. Payne and her husband, Mark, of Waynesboro; one brother, Timothy S. Quick of Waynesboro, one sister, Rose Mary Harris of Sherando; and three grandchildren, Brooke L. Quick and Kile L. Quick, both of Lyndhurst, and Kendall L. Payne of Waynesboro. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday (January 23) at the Waynesboro Mennonite Church by the Rev. Stan Kauffman with burial following at Riverview Cemetery. Military rites will be provided by the Stuarts Draft VFW Post 9339 at the graveside. Active pallbearers will be Michael Eavey Christopher Eavey, Billy Rowe, Mike Rowe, Ronnie Cook and Ronnie Fitzgerald. Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Reynolds Funeral Service of Waynesboro.
